I am a Puget Sound native, born and raised. I received two Bachelors’ Degrees from the University of Washington where I studied Philosophy, Political Science, and the Comparative History of Ideas. I then attended Seattle University where I received my JD before returning to the University of Washington for an LL.M in Taxation.
I currently live in the Burien Area where I am active in the community and serve on the board of BAT Theater, SeaDruNar, and I am a trustee with the Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence.
Accessing legal services can be costly and inconvenient. Trips to big downtown office buildings, dealing with traffic, costly parking, wondering how much of what you’re paying is going to support marble lobbies, concern about how quickly high hourly rates add up or how much calling with a quick question will cost you. I don’t think that’s right.
I believe that everyone should be able to access legal services in a comfortable and economical way. I base my practice on two things: flat fees and coming to you. I find that meeting clients in their homes or a local coffee shop is more comfortable than meeting in a high rise downtown. I also believe that you should know up front, what your services will cost. For many things you can find the prices right here on my website. For others we can talk, always free of charge, about what you need and then I will give you an estimate. The charge for most services will be a flat fee. Some services are hourly, but I will still do my best to give you an accurate estimate. Payment plans are available.
